Which image formats are supported?
Current browser tools support common formats such as JPEG, PNG and WebP where supported by the browser. Animated formats and unusual files may have limitations.
Can I resize an image for social media?
The resizer includes common dimensions for square posts, Stories/Reels, profile pictures and other standard placements. Check each platform’s latest specifications before publishing.
Are images uploaded to a server?
The current image utilities are designed to process selected images locally in your browser rather than upload them to the website.
Can I reduce image file size?
Use Image Compressor to export a supported image with an adjustable quality setting. The amount of reduction depends on the source image and output format.
Does the cropper support moving and zooming the crop area?
The current release uses ratio-based cropping. A full draggable crop frame with zoom and move controls is a planned enhancement, so it should not be advertised as available yet.
